God damn, it's so fucking simple & I should've known to check it but didn't.
For those who wern't at the last LAN, my comp crashed around 2330 and
Allen, Nate & I spent the better part of 3 hours trying to fix it.
I leave the LAN
around 0300, and apparently my presence matters more than I thought,
because 3 other people pack up with me as I get ready to leave. I head
up to Bellingham to spend the night & better part of today with a
friend and begin reassembling Odium(my comp), just to see if I can get
him to post. So I connect the rear fan and go over everything one last
time, just to make sure everything's properly connected. And out of the
corner of my eye I notice that the transistors on my PSU are oozing.
That makes two dead PSU's since Feburary. The first was a 300 or 350
Watt, and this last one was 450. The odd part is that my old PSU lasted
almost a year, and the new, higher watt one only lasted 5 months(to the
day).
Even though my comp didn't make it to midnight, this was one of the
best LANs yet, for two simple reasons. An avg 4:1 Kill ratio, and
killing the entire opposing team with a weapon than doesn't have a
sight(one of the high-end, rapid fire, sniper rifles. & I didn't
zoom for any of the kills). Oh, and headshots with the Dualies &
Desert Eagle.
*Edit* Nope. Mobo's gone. RMA time... goodie. Tried every configuration I could think of. No post or even beeps.
