So here we sit on Christmas day watching TV or just being lazy. Many of you are watching kids with their toys running around the house. I find myself here at this old comfortable spot, with the TV on in the background, the coffee brewing and the chill air outside, wondering what the next year will bring and looking back at the last. It’s been fun this last year and the next will be completely different. What, you thought I had some profound point? LOL Not likely. hahahahaha… or should I say hohohohoho….
Merry Christmas!
A friend sent me this link. The video is pretty funny if you're looking for a laugh.

Last night we had snow! Snow around here is usually a once or twice a year thing in December or January, not April! I woke on Saturday to find the yard covered in the stuff. The weather around here sure has been weird lately.
Just a quick note to say, I hope you all had a merry Christmas and have a happy New Year!

You know, people who design stuff like that really need to be forced to sit in a room with TV screens on all the walls and bombarded with tons of the crap that they design for a few weeks. These guys are actually charging $40-60 per hour for this design! And more for "advanced programming"... I highly doubt they could program their way out of a paper bag if their design and portfolio is any example of their work. Yuck!

Well, if you didn't know, I joined the EDASC Swing into the Holidays event committee. After our business part of the first meeting we went on a boat ride and later a few of us went out again whale watching. I took this video with my little Sony camera.

Ordinary people...pointless abilities.

I posted some photos from Nate's birthday party yesterday here:

This is funny. Somebody at Blizzard spent a while on this.

Here the UO community is specifically mentioned, but it is not the only group of communities to die out due to the MMO trend. Many real gaming communities have gone the way of the dodo due to these games as well. Not all have disappeared completely, but many have dropped off due to players opting to stay home and play online instead of dragging their computer down the street.
