This was fun, though I have to admit I was half asleep for most of the conversation. LOL ;) Still, it was a good way to start my day. And I must say, it was the busiest day I've had in two months. I went to 5 clients, this, and Bellingham somewhere over lunch. And now I'm off to dinner. See you all next time.

This is funny. Somebody at Blizzard spent a while on this.

Here the UO community is specifically mentioned, but it is not the only group of communities to die out due to the MMO trend. Many real gaming communities have gone the way of the dodo due to these games as well. Not all have disappeared completely, but many have dropped off due to players opting to stay home and play online instead of dragging their computer down the street.

I posted an hour long fireworks video below my photos on my live space. I went to Marysville with Nate and a bunch of his family and friends. The video jumps around a lot and the commentary is funny at times. It was fun and the video really doesn't do it justice at all. There were fireworks going off all around us and it was hard to choose where to point the camera at times. People kept walking in front of it too, which didn't help. hehe Anyway, enjoy the show. The good stuff starts about a third of the way into it if you're impatient.

This article about bad points in game design is kind of interesting...

Happy 4th of July everyone!
